I am actively involved in many projects and social activities locally but the main emphasis of why I wanted to create this group is to permit local singles to widen their social horizons without the claptrap of dating sites and speed dating events.
This group originally started out as a singles only events calendar- as I was frustrated with how bacwards it can be dating & thought why not simplify things. However, our events are open to everyone and thus, I hope we'll now attract more women too!
Music and dance plus social events where I can converse and get to know people without too much noise. I am keen to find company to enjoy doing things like rambling, meals out, sightseeing in the region, cycling the local area. I am however generally only free week days or in the evenings on the weekends.
Yes. I often attend jazz and acoustic music gigs and watch films or go for a walk & meal. However, why not combine such social interests with chit chat time before or after these activities.
I am a playful and very communicative man who's drawn most of all to witty, unconventional people who follow their own heart and who express themselves confidently but sensitively.
I sure do! If you have someone visiting Oxford, why not write me to find out how you can join a tour and get 50% off with a friend! My email for the tours is tours()iloveoxford com or just call me on 07955 482637. I also have free 'ILoveOxford Benefits' cards which last till Dec. 2012 and which can save you money at over 35 Oxford shops, cafes and leisure related businesses. So if you are going to attend my tours or our events here, just ask me to give you one!
"I also run Oxford Language Lounge exchange group on facebook and via http://www.Oxford-Language-Lounge.inf...
"
I think it's a good idea but it would be a lot more effective if more people would actually turn up.

Hi Riki `ol boy, Nice to hear from you out of the blue, a surprise but a good one at that. Well I`ve been here in Fukuoka for ages as you well know and have settled down and doing pretty good. How long is it that have you been back in the U.K.? What have you and what are you doing presently workwise. Still single or hitched?? Do keep in touch and all the best in all your efforts and endeavours. BYEONARA!!
Hey, I'm good thanks. Really enjoying it here in Fukuoka. Managed to find an ALT job at a Junior High school which has been really fun so far. I went to Nokonoshima just last week, it's really nice there. I haven't been to Off Broadway though, is it worth going?
How have you been? How are things back in Oxford? The language exchange group still going strong?
Mike

Hi Alasdair
I will be running two Italian workshops in Oxford on 30 June and would like to add a link to my website - http://www.susangirellihill.eu/![]()
